How to Place Targeted Banner Ads on Olex.ng

If you have a business, website, product, service, event, or announcement that you want to promote to a specific audience, you can advertise on Olex.ng by placing your banner ad in the most relevant category or section.

IMPORTANT: You need a minimum advertising balance of ₦5,000 to place a banner ad on Olex.ng. Before creating your campaign, make sure you fund your Olex.ng account with ₦5,000 or more.

Step 1: Fund Your Olex.ng Account

Log in to your Olex.ng account and fund your wallet with a minimum of ₦5,000.

You must have sufficient funds available before you can create a banner advertising campaign.

Step 2: Go to Your Dashboard

After funding your account, go to your Olex.ng Dashboard.

Step 3: Go to Advertising

From your dashboard, select:

Dashboard → Advertising → Create Ad

Step 4: Upload Your Banner

Upload your banner ad and select the relevant advertising placement or category where you want your ad to appear.

Step 5: Add Your Landing Page

Enter the webpage you want people to visit when they click your advertisement.

Your landing page must be a valid public HTTPS:// URL. It must use a real domain name and must not point to localhost or a private network address.

Step 6: Make Sure Your Banner Meets the Requirements

Your banner should be:

  • 970 × 250 or 300 x 250 pixels

  • JPG or PNG only

  • 100KB or less

  • Clear and easy to read

  • Borderless

  • Properly branded

  • Display the business name, logo, website, product, or brand identity

Step 7: Submit Your Ad

Review your campaign details and submit your advertisement for approval.

Your ad must be approved before it can start running on Olex.ng.

Step 8: Check Your Campaign Status

If your advertisement is approved, it can run on your selected placement.

If changes are required, your campaign may remain pending while you are notified about what needs to be corrected.

You can check your Campaign page for updates.

Step 9: Monitor Your Advertising Performance

Your campaign dashboard allows you to monitor how your advertisement is performing.

You can review:

  • Amount spent

  • Impressions

  • Clicks

  • Active placements

  • Pending placements
